Yes, I’m very involved in every character I play. For me, the exterior of anyone is a reflection of the interior. I work on their subtext and personal desires, dreams, and history of the character, but there’s something they’re putting out in the world, and they want to be seen a certain way. Sometimes the exterior is a mask.
